DigitalGlobe will Act as the General Sponsor at the III International Conference Remote Sensing – the Synergy of High Technologies  DigitalGlobe, one of leading world provider of high-resolution ERS space data, will act as general sponsor at the III International Conference Remote Sensing - the Synergy of High Technologies, to be held on April 15 to 17, 2009 in the Atlas Park-Hotel located in the Moscow region. This Annual conference is being organized by Russian company Sovzond, an authorized distributor of DigitalGlobe’s world imagery solutions. As a leading provider of high-resolution world imagery solutions, DigitalGlobe will be presenting on the features, values and benefits of its advanced commercial satellite constellation and the solutions they provide. DigitalGlobe houses and maintains the largest ImageLibrary in the world, providing online an offline access to over 600 million km2 of high-resolution data collected by its QuickBird and WorldView-1 satellites, and continues to collect nearly 1 million km2 every day. One of the key highlights of the Conference is a presentation by CTO and Founder of DigitalGlobe, Walter Scott about WorldView-2, DigitalGlobe’s second next generation satellite to be launched in the 3rd quarter of 2009. WorldView-2 will provide accuracy and agility similar to WorldView-1, but with the additional enhancements of 8 multi-spectral bands providing true colour, an intra-day revist time over the entire globe and double the collection capacity to nearly 2 million km2 every day. DigitalGlobes online solutions will be represented in its ImageConnect and Image Builder solutions. Both solutions provide instant web access to DigitalGlobe’s online library, the most in-depth available through an online platform. ImageConnect is a unique GIS extension that works with the major GIS software solutions including ESRI, Autodesk and Pitney-Bowes (MapInfo), instantly bringing georeferenced high resolution satellite and aerial imagery straight into your GIS project. ImageBuilder uses a Application Programming Interface that provides access to the world’s most extensive library of high resolution earth imagery to web, desktop and mobile applications.
