CONTEST

We are glad to invite you to participate in the contest «The best projects in the sphere of geoinformation technologies and Earth remote sensing».

The objective of the contest is creating a high standard of quality integrated solutions for projects using GIS and remote sensing, to encourage the development of original projects, promotion and attraction of the market Geoinformatics new potential customers.

Nominations:

  • Best industry innovative project using satellite remote sensing data;
  • Best regional innovative project using satellite remote sensing data;
  • Best integration solution using geospatial data;
  • Unique development of technologies in the field of remote sensing and GIS;
  • Significant contribution to the development of the sphere GIS and remote sensing.

Selection Criteria and Other Conditions.

  • The contest participants may be organizations from Russia and CIS countries.
  • All developments must be original (individual or joint authorship), based on remote sensing data.
  • A project is accepted to the contest after confirmation from the organizers.
  • Applicants must submit their proposals through an application form up to February 1, 2012.
  • Presentation, project evaluation, as well as summing up the contest and awarding ceremony held at the VI International Conference Remote Sensing – «the Synergy of High Technologies» in the period from 25 to 27 April 2012.
  • Articles about the best projects will be published for free in the journal «Geomatics».
  • Under the law on Copyright of Russian Federation the original project texts, submitted to the contest, will not be distributed without authors’ consent.

The following materials are to be submitted to the Organizing team

Materials are provided in the form of a textual description of the project, 3-5 illustrations (photos and / or diagrams with a resolution of 300 dpi) and project presentations in MS PowerPoint, as well as documentation supporting the project. All documents must be submitted in Russian.
